6U Tee Ball is played on 55' bases and a pitcher defensive player is located at 40'. For a batter, after 2 strikes - a strike is a swing and miss (including a swing missing the ball but hitting the tee alone), or a foul ball or foul tip - an unlimited number or foul balls/foul tips are permitted, until one is hit fair or a 3rd strike occurs. There are no lead offs or steals.

No bats over 2 1/4 inches diameter barrels are permitted, and metal cleats are not permitted. All softball bats must bear ASA Approved certification mark.
