About Us

Aledo Athletics Inc. (AAI) was established in 1976 and is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. As an independent organization, the Board of Directors manage all operations and maintain the grounds and facilities. We are grateful to say we own the property as well as all the equipment used to maintain AAI's complex.

All expenses are paid with registration fees and sponsorship funds raised throughout each year. All funds are applied directly to incurred expenses: uniforms, grounds and facilities maintenance, concessions supplies, umpire payroll, and utilities, to name a few.

All this is possible due to the continued support from parents, coaches, volunteers and the local community. Thank you very much!!

AAI registers recreational baseball teams with USSSA and recreational softball teams with PONY during spring and fall season play; summer All-Star teams follow suit. PONY softball does not recognize fall season play but we use their rules structure.

The baseball and softball rules hierarchy are as follows:

  • AAI specific rules for both baseball and softball
  • USSSA (baseball) and PONY (softball)
  • Major League Baseball (MLB)

Registrations are allowed within the following boundaries:

  • Aledo Independent School District (AISD)
  • Parker County

Note: registrations outside of AAI's boundaries require a special request and approval.

We are proud to be the home of several championship All-Star teams:

  • 2006 Shetland 6U (Tee-Ball) PONY State Champions
  • 2012 Shetland 6U (Tee-Ball) PONY State Champions
  • 2015 Pinto 8U (Coach Pitch) PONY State and World Series Champions
  • 2016 Shetland 6U (Tee-Ball) PONY World Series Champions
  • 2018 6U Division (Coach Pitch) USSSA All-Star World Series Champions
  • 2018 8U Division (Coach Pitch) USSSA All-Star World Series Champions

We are honored to be in Aledo and glad you are here too!

Pets and metals spikes are NOT allowed on AAI's complex.
